I liked their curry and karaage dish worth for the price. Theres even parking in the back. If youve been to Sawtelle, you know how the parking situation is like.

Japanese Karaage stand in Sawtelle. If you check in on Yelp, you can get an extra sauce. We tried the house sauce, aioli, and ranch all were good, but the aioli was the favorite. We split the Karaage as a light dinnerheavy snack, as well ...

Solid fried chicken! Really juicy and flavorful and the aoli dipping sauce is great. My cat wanted some too ...

A lowkey, no nonsense shop serving up some of the best curry Ive had in my life. So good that I ate here twice before leaving LA. Do yourself a favor and pick up their Karaage Curry with a 5 piece to go. You wont regret it.

Great spot for a quick bite to eat for a lunch or dinner. Ordered the karaage bowl and everything was excellent about it, especially the karaage of course.

Karaage city! Great reputation well deserved. Tiny storefront perfect for takeout, but fried chicken is better fresh from the fryer. I love to max out lemon and ponzu but that is my prefrenece. The creamy sauces are too much with fried ...

Tasty fried chicken better known as karaage in Japanese. The crust is very flavorful with seasoning. I like the karaage burger best with the jalapeno ranch aioli. Fries are seasoned. What is really great is that there is ample parking in the lot next door, which is really key in the Sawtelle neighborhood.

Anzu is closed, it has moved to Menya Tigre, and my favorite meal Karaage Curry has changed for the worse. its still amazing karaage, the best in sawtelle, but now there is half as much chicken and no egg. Anzu has been a go to spot for me for years, its unfortunate to see these changes.
